agree with this. cant stand the lack of defined fenders on the M4. the e92 looks better except on the interior
the f80 m3 is such a better and more classic BMW design than the M4 IMO. I have to say I am disappointed in the styling of the M4. perhaps its because I love the e46 and the DTM style fenders which are notably absent on the M4. I am thrilled with the technical and mechanical improvements of the f80 over the e92

Either the seat goes back farther on the F82, or the rear leg room on the new M4 has decreased. One thing I loved about the E92 was the rear leg room despite pushing the seat back. |

I think everyone is missing the significance of wider and lower. This likely doesn't translate well in pictures (as much as a flared fender would). If you have ever looked at the 997 911 in person and compared the S to the 4S, a couple inches of width make a big difference in look.
I think once more people get the opportunity to see the M4 in person, there will be a realization that it looks significantly better than pictures. At least I hope so. |

I find the rear bumper of the F82 quite hideous. I do prefer the aggressively shaped tail lights however.
The side gill is too abstract on the F82 as well and I think it is much more clean on the E92. The aggression is clearly more prominent with the F82 and it's sharper lines. But everything flows better with the E92 IMO. Should continue to age well. |

I have to say the e92 has held up much better against the f82 than the e90 does against the f80. The f80 crushes them all though...IMO of course.

E92 still looks really good. I can only hope the M4 ages just as well.

I think when the M3/M4 are actually in showrooms, the design is going to be that much better in person. |

Side profile is tough to beat on the E92, curious to see what the aftermarket companies do for splitters or full CF replacements on the M4, gonna have a lot of stuff going on if too many wings and inlets are added
