UPDATE: M3 CS on KW Suspension HAS
Winter is coming in Europe, but I had to do the first mods to my new car.
Because the overall stance didn't look that good to me I wanted to try the KW HAS Set for a better overall appearance. A better performance was not that main effort for me. I got a very good offer for the KW HAS by CBC Performance in Andernach. After I had made very good experiences with CBC before, they also did a great job with the KW HAS, which is not really that easy to install. We finally found a setup with a 10mm Spacer at the front and a 5mm Spacer at the rear, what had the best fitment with 265/285 Michelin Cup2 combination on the 763M without any scratching. The final setup of my car was done a few days later by Custom Racetec at the Nürburgring. As always, the best address also for a completely stock car, if you want to have the best possible handling at the end. I am very happy with the setup. The car is driving really really good and I can recommend the modification. But indeed, it is stiffer than stock. Car looks great, much better than stock
My M4cs is at the dealer right now getting the M-Performance HAS installed. For me, it is primarily to get the performance benefit of a lower centre of gravity, but the improved looks is definitely a nice side benefit. I just hope I won’t scrub the front lip. I am curious as to why you went with KW instead of the M-Performance?

Moreover, it is not officialy approved for the CS from BMW. The KW HAS has an official approval for the CS. And the most important issue for me: my BMW partner recommended the KW HAS

I'm surprised KW is endorsed over BMW M. Learn something new everyday, lol. |

Good point about the height adjustment range. I preferred to go the MP-HAS route to maintain the same the spring ratesfor an optimal pairing with the damper calibration. Apparently BMW made a lot of efforts tuning the CS suspension, I wanted to tinker with it as little as possible.

OP needs to confirmed, but I don’t believe the KW is approved “by” BMW. IMO KW got an independent approval from the regulators so their HAS is street legal “for” the CS. Something BMW seem to not have (yet?) done for their own MP-HAS.

Yes they do. However, the MP-HAS and KW's own HAS have different spring rates and perch design, the later allowing for more drop on the KW-HAS albeit with potential rubbing problems with certain wheel offsets. Another benefit of the MP-HAS IMO is the full manufacturer warranty imbedded with the car.

No, definitely no spacers. I don't like what they do to the suspension tuning, particularly on the front wheels.

Looks great man, especially with the spacers. Why did you opt to go with 5mm in the back and not match the 10mm from the front? You wouldn't have rubbed cause I have 15mm on mine front and back and I'm ok.
