This is not a vendor product showcase. OP talks about both upgrades, which is how is see this thread - HPFP upgrade discussion. If anything, XDI product has been mentioned more than Spool.

Sounds promising! Can't wait to hear more about it.
Ian from Bend Calibration is helping me tune a max effort map on E50 and so far the car loves it. I tried E60 and the pump was showing signs of pressure loss. So we went back to E50 for now. Before meth. And yes I've head there is a work around that some tuners use to run full E85 by lowering load limits etc. But, the true limit of the fuel system is E60.

Dorch Engineering I believe was doing R&D on an S55 solution before COVID-19 brought those efforts to a halt.
Helped a buddy install a used but BNIB Dorch HPFP (Stage 2) in his 2018 N55 M2 and the product seemed to be constructed well .... except for the 2 aluminum hex bolts that came with the kit. Seems kinda weak for a really mission critical part. Would have preferred to see something like an ARP head stud design to securely fastened a HPFP down. Just my $0.02.

I personally wouldn't try to go far beyond 600whp on 93 octane pump gas (built motor or not, stock turbo or upgraded, water meth or no water meth, upgraded crank hub or stock crank hub) .... so certainly kudos to that tuner for being on the edge of the efficient frontier.

It's not dependent on hardware it's the ethanol content and limitations of the factory fuel system.

sorry I must differ, I had several customers using just e85 pump or VP X85, no WMI, just MHD+JB4 or BM3+JB4, no issues, no fault +131mph trap speed.

Do you know where in the RPM band the stock HPFPs become unable to provide enough fuel when using E85? I would like to run E85 without mixing and stay in the powerband. The only issue I've heard of is topping out of fuel supply so just don't rev too high when racing. -TJ

Well on my car it was around 6k rpm. But, I'm in the middle of the tuning process using ecutek flex fuel. So, that may be different for you my friend. I've heard the bm3 tuners can lower load limits to get higher ethanol content without pumps crashing.

Have a M4 getting a Carbahn Stage 2 motor and bigger turbos that will be getting the Spool HPFP/LPFP combo soon.

Ok. I have PS2+ and was wondering if just the Spool HPFP will be sufficient to run full E85 (no meth)?

It's still new territory, so there will be some trial and error on the dyno. The current methanol system will be disabled for the time being to see how the Spools perform on their own and determine if its even needed at all.

Looking forward to seeing what happens! I've planned a similar build of Hybrids+Spool+CustomE85.
