Hi Guys,

I have bilstein damptronic suspension what is the best offset for 18"x10 square setup that will not rub either in the front or rear?

Thanks,

I’m running a 18x10.5 et35 square TE37 set-up

Fronts use 12mm spacer 275/35/18 no rubbing no noticeable stretch

Rears are perfect and running wider rear tires for now

I was thinking about selling them but haven’t received the right offer for them yet

I guess there's no way around running square without a spacer right?

I run 18x10 et25 275/35 without spacers on stock suspension and it fits perfectly. I'm about to install MP HAS soon, so I'll see how it fits then. Hope this helps.

As said above...18x10et25 is your ticket without spacers.

best square setup for 18"?

I don't want to start another thread, but I am trying to piggyback on this topic

For an f80 sedan on lowering springs, would a 18x10.5 +35 + 12mm spacer fit up front without camber plates? Tires would be 275/35

They should work... that's the setup I'm trying to find. Keep in mind it depends on the tires....Toyos 888r run 10.5" tread width... which is about the widest 275 runs, and the reason I want a 10.5"wheel. Any other tire and you should be fine... in fact you will get a bit of a stretch on the tire. Please provide feedback if you end up doing it.

I just sold the wheels that were in question, actually clears stock suspension even better than my JRZ's tire was 2 inches below spring perch. And no stretch on Nankangs in 275

Do you guys run square setups so you can rotate tires to get more out of them or is there also some other benefits?

18x9/9.5/10/10.5 (with varying offsets) square setups are better on tire life. Having a narrower front tire versus a meaty back gives you more understeer, which some prefer when pushing hard through corners and some do not. Having a square setup (assuming you have enough meat in the back tires to put your F8X torque down) feels more balanced to some, and too oversteer-y for others. All preference - understeer is generally viewed as safer in corners than breaking rear traction with oversteer.
