Loose Steering Wheel - F80 M3

Hey all, I'm having a bit of an issue with the steering on my base F80 M3

Essentially, the issue is that the steering feels loose and not very precise, as if it has a dead-zone 3-4cm on each direction. It makes cornering feel sloppy and I feel like I need to turn the steering wheel to much.

The things that where recently done on the car are:
  • Alcantara M2CS Steering wheel (but I torqued the center bolt to 5+/-% factory spec with a digital wrench)
  • Dealership exchanged front tires only and (I think) did an allignment on the car

Dealership inflated the tires to 2.5 bar, so I assumed that might have been the main issue, but I deflated them to the 2.2 suggested figure and the problem still persists

I have attached two videos to show what I mean. First one is while driving, second one is while stationary (not bothered too much about this).
Anyone knows what's up?

When you got new front tires did you get the same kind that were there before? Also, I know new tires can be greasy sometimes. Try putting some miles on them?

Also, I just had the M4 GTS steering coded on my car, it no longer has any center dead zone.

Yeah, front and rears are same brand and subtype

Have done around 1000km on them

I haven't driven all that much, less so spirited drives, but recently started to and notice that its sloppy in the curves, as if I have to turn a lot more

Had an f82 M4 and F87 M2C, which have same components basically, and never noticed this

It just feels loose, even if it feels stiffer in sport plus, the steering isnt very direct

I saw this on another post, going to take the car to the dealership and see if they have any idea

If they are unable to fix it, will try coding

Something is off though, a bit of play especially stationary is normal, but it wiggles a bit to much

Back to back tried with the X3M and it is definitely different, something is wrong, no idea what
