Tucson M3

Just picked up my first M3, actually first BMW, on Saturday night. Was curious to see any locals, or any meet ups going on. Still relatively new to Tucson, just moved here a little less than 2 years ago from Chicago. So still learning the car scene out here. very different from Chicago.

Tucson has an odd car scene. The majority of the cars you'll see are owned by military folks stationed down there. If you're looking for a meet or something, I would be looking in the north Tucson/Catalina Foothills area, as it's a little nicer area than mid and south Tucson. You may have better luck up there finding car meets of a decent caliber. Good luck!

Very odd...but good point about mostly military. Luckily I have been finding some cars & coffee events but havent been to one yet. Might get adventurous and make it up to the PHX area for some bigger events.

There's lots of great meets in the Chandler, Tempe, & Scottsdale area. Look up the AZ Motorsports Gathering (formerly Scottsdale Cars & Coffee), Cars & Coffee at the Penske Museum or Alpio's @ Troon

Will do! Thanks. Im actually located near Picacho Peak so a saturday morning trip with the family to phx isnt really a big deal...especially for a cars and coffee.

Tucson, not an awesome place

If you make it to Phoenix,

Cars and Coffee at Scottsdale 101 shopping center is held every 1st Saturday of each month, starts around 6AM

McDonald's car show at 101 and Indian Bend is held every Saturday, starts around 5PM.

Ill take Tucson over Illinois haha. Got relocated out here for a job. Saw the opportunity to get out of Illinois and jumped on it...can you blame me? lol

Good call, a few coworkers moved from there to Arizona.

So many people have. Chicago is a badass city, but not great enough to justify staying in Chicago. Luckily where I live now is about center of PHX and TUC.

Cars and coffee at La Encantada in Tucson is a great show. Especially now that the weather is starting to get nice, worth checking out. I believe it is every second saturday of each month.

I've been meaning to check it out, especially now that I got a fun car to bring along. Crown Concepts even just started a cars and coffee which I heard is good too.

Ill be at the next cars and coffee at La Encantada. My parents live in Tucson, so I make the drive semi often. Will keep an eye out if you are there!
