Talking Active Autowerke Carbon Fiber Tips Now Available!

Enjoy

I will be posting more pics with these tips installed on customers M3/M4

WORRY-FREE STYLE FOR YOUR BMW M3 & BMW M4
Active Autowerke has released our F8X-specific exhaust tips! These 90MM tips replace the small and ugly OEM tips found on the F80 BMW M3 and F82 BMW M4.

Active Autowerke’s new F8X exhaust tips were developed specifically for the latest-generation M3/M4. This allows them to fully conceal the remaining OEM piping.

The tips are fully adjustable, which helps guarantee you’ll find the perfect fitment.

CONSTRUCTION:
These tips provide all the visual aggressiveness of our Active Autowerke F8X Rear Exhaust Section without the warranty worries!

The brushed stainless steel finish is both aesthetically-pleasing and easy to keep clean.

Our Carbon Fiber tips have a genuine plain-weave carbon sleeve that is riveted to our stainless double walled base that provides an elegant, sophisticated look.

Each kit includes a 10MM exhaust mount bushing ensuring compatibility with any rear diffuser.

DIMENSIONS:
  • Pipe opening 70MM
  • Tip opening 90MM
  • Overall length 119MM
  • Visible tip length 90MM

hmmm, don't think you can do that with CF cut-away design... well you could, but would look crap

Looking at AA website and these are the same dimensions as their other tips, which stick out too far for my liking.
Are they cut away? They looked reversible to me. Well whatever, cut against the grain I say.

Hi Mike,

They sit out a little too far for my personal liking. Are they adjustable to make them sit flusher with the bumper?

Cheers

Why?

Do these give any performance improvements or are they just coffee cans?

How cheesy do they look to the guy behind you at the light who can plainly see the stock tip inside these fake ones?

If you don't bolt them on tight, imagine how funny they would look with one missing.

Or are these just a cheap way for owner's to think their car has better performance?

Sorry, no thanks for anything attached by sticky tape.

Hi,
Not sure we are on the same page but you do not see the stock tips behind these tips, you actually need to remove the stock tips for these ones to fit

As to you why, its because they look a lot better than the small stock one.
