Hmm, it's not about holding the car. I was told you cannot lock rebates. You can lock MF & residual for a couple of months, but if the rebate isn't available by then, it would be lost. Being how they gave 10k for CS, I've decided not to take chances.

My current lip is so much lower than the CS lip and I manage to get by in NYC. I am considering 12mm spacers in front, 10mm in rear. MPHAS at recommended drop. Also, wanted to go to 265 on front tires with PS4S. I am immediately getting rid of the PSS and selling them, getting the PS4S put on before I pick up the car.

Also, not sure if I caught if you are running spacers or not. I would hate to interfere with the balance of the CS right now, I think it's pretty good. Would you say it's fine for street and then just take them off for the track?

After that it will only be a sale, not a lease... If anyone is interested, I can put you in touch with my CA who gave me a great deal on an SMB CS. picked it up last week and they have one last left in stock. Only problem is that it has the ceramics and the frozen dark blue paint so the MSRP is $115K. But they are willing to be aggressive with the discounts PM me if interested, the car is in Florida. |

I run 12mm front and 7mm rear spacers with my 640M winter wheels. I find the narrow winter wheel way too tucked in without spacers, especially up front where I have -2.5 degrees of camber. I figure that handling dynamics do not matter that much on winter tires. I'll be installing my 763M summer tires shortly. I may go with either no spacers or 7mm front and rear. I run 18X10ET25 front and 18X11ET44 rear EC-7 wheels for the track. I use a 5mm spacer in front just as a safety to clear the MP-HAS. It clears without spacers, but it's pretty tight. You can have a look at my picture thread to see the stance with the spacers: https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1533482

At this point I cant see myself making any changes. The car is perfectly balanced. The only change are Cup 2s after I burn out these tires at around 3k miles. The 265 cup 2s upfront will give a perfect fitment in my opinion.

I completely agree. Not sure why some are so thirsty to tune the CS. It sounds ridiculous to be honest.

I took my CS to a track day last week and then to the drag strip this week and I'am truly impressed with its stock performance. Below is the best time slip from the drag strip. For reference I had an 18 Comp pack M3 with a BM3 stage 1 tune, AA mid pipe, BMC filters that trapped 124.xx at the same track and this car is trapping 122.xx with a best of 122.72 with 3/4 tank of gas.

My car was inadvertently delivered with the optional PSS and I drove on them for a full week before my dealer swapped them out for the PSC2. I have to say the PSC2 look much better by filling the wheel wells more, without even talking about the improved handling feel and performance.

The CS performs much better than the meagre 9hp peak power increase suggests

Am I the only one that thinks the CS is crazy expensive? Don't get me wrong, I like my CP but when I see the numbers on the CS, it pretty much opens the door for any car out there (price wise).
Not trolling, just can't believe what they are asking for the car. |

In Canada, the CS MSRP is much more decent than in the US. Further, you also can get quite good discounts in Canada, although not as much as in the US due to the more reasonable starting MRSRP. I got about $10k CAD of rebates/discounts on my 2019 M4cs back in September. When I factor what I got for the ~$16k premium over a well optioned CP, it is quite worth it to me:
