much better looking interface but fk is using the scroll wheel painful

carplay was definitely designed to be used as a touch interface

I just wanted to let you know guys that the newest software NBTEvo_S and NBTEvo_U - 19/11 firmware are supported for both Fullscreen and CarPlay activation.

NO SUPPORT FOR NOW - it is delayed.

I have a 2017 340i (2017-01-04 build date). I do not have the option to buy apple car play from the store. What are my option to get it from BMW or doing it myself?

It is possible, depends on software USB or ENET.

Sorry I'm new to this.

I had:

Telephone: TB-005.002.001
Media: MB-005.002.001

I just updated via USB to:

HB-006.007.032
TB-005.004.032

I check on the BMW connected drive and Carplay is still not available.

I think I may be missing the wifi antenna since my vehicle didn't come with the Carplay compatibility package.

Can you go into more detail as to what I would need to install your code?

I pick my brand new M4 up friday, it has online entertainment but not carplay(!?)

I was told by dealer to purchase on ConnectedDrive website.

Will it come widescreen?

How are you guys obtaining it and will it disappear if serviced or updated by BMW?

It won't come with widescreen

Usually WiFi antenna is not required. It's better to install than check if it's necessary.

Turn on an iPhone's driving mode

1. Start the Settings app.
2. Tap "Do Not Disturb."
3. In the Do Not Disturb While Driving section, tap "Activate."
4. Tap "When connected to Car Bluetooth" or "Automatically" or when car play is connected.

With Do Not Disturb, you can silence calls, alerts, and notifications that you get while your device is locked.
