I agree, a bigger front sway on the F8X is a good idea, I just think a stiffer rear sway is not in order considering how tail happy it is already on thottle up / corner exit.
100 percent agreed on the stock rear bar being in place. For my 2 E36 race cars, I was actually a lot happier with a 15mm bar (from a 325i 30 bucks from a junkyard) in there vs no bar (wouldnt rotate during lift). Stock bar was slight twitchy and RD or UUC bar at the back made it horrible.

In these modern cars stock bar at the back for sure. The car is handful as is (tire limited) at the back when folks run 275 square.

Cheers,

Lutfy

Yeah, that'll help. I was running stock alignment on the M4, but imagine it comes with a little bit of toe-in already from the factory? Have to get mine on a rack and see what's going on back there.

I think it needs a little more toe-out in the front. It's a bit lazy on turn in FYI.

Anyone know what the factory alignment specs are for the F8X?

indeed I am also running more front toe-out than factory. I personally align my car by feel and just turn the bars until its fast but in the coming weeks I will get someone to give me the specs of what my car actually has and share them.

I am almost considering not getting sway bars, the car is really quite good with just tires and brakes.

That is exactly how i felt while driving mine on track. Off camber turns the car dives in the front and the tires squeal. I know if the sway bar can flatten that out and better tires will grip more than the turn would be less painful.

Any idea what others have suggested the ideal camber for cup 2's might be?

I'm not sure what others are running. I like 0toe for tread life and max camber for grip. Sticker tires will perform better than pss. A friend of mine has them already on his e92 and they hook up well.

My Sway bar is finally getting shipped. I ordered it back in Feb. I also got my hands on some TC Plates. I should have them installed this week if not then the following week with Bimmerfest coming up so quick. Can't wait to see how this improves the handling!!!

TC plates has 3 camber setting (not sliding). Normal, medium, and aggressive I believe. Start with negative 2-3 degrees, shouldn't need more than that.

Fall Line make nice ball bearing suspension joints and toe adjustment links for the F8x. Something to look into if you're serious about tracking.

I'm getting the Dinan ones next month. I want to try this stuff out first. I had them on my last car and that makes the rear solid. 😀

I usually work with Andrew but for these they only have the toe and Dinan has the upper control arm too so you get 4 bars.

Thinking of ordering the H&R front and rear sways as the car rolls in the corners and immediate turn in is not sharp. Has turn-in sharpened up considerably? Will eventually get AD08Rs or Sport Cup 2s on a dedicated track setup, so I'm not too concerned about putting the power down out of corners.

Front 30mm alone on the softest setting flattens the car out. I did camber plates and dinan rear arms.. 15mm spacers all the way around.. Drives like a dream.

I have the toe arms, IND does have bushings for the upper control arm, but it isn't under as much tension when you are turning or accelerating hard. the Fall-Line toe links made a huge difference and are much better priced - and they have a rubber boot over the bearings, which I prefer.
