Thanks! Did you soak it? What did you use to separate the coating once the stripper softened it?

Some sort of long handle wire brush and some gloves with a hose usually does it.

Aren’t strippers supposed to harden it?

Anywhooo...
Got my pipes back from paint. Closest I could find with in stock paints without going to a custom blend.

It came in like a gel so I just brushed it on, let it sit for about 20 minutes until the finish starts bubbling. I blasted it with a power washer and most of it came off, I took a wire brush to get the stubborn pieces.

I got my VRSF charge pipe powder coated on the shop's M4. I'm going to do the same for all my future builds. It makes the build even more unique

I'm about to sell my set with meth bungs already installed for cheap. I already sold my F80 and these are the last few things remaining.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to order replacement OEM e-torx bolts that connect the charge pipes to the turbos?

Per newtis, I believe they are M6's:
"3AZ Charging pressure pipe to exhaust turbocharger
S55 M6 Collar bolt"

But I can't seem to find the full specific size on, say, getbmwparts.com. And just to confirm, these OEM bolts will mate up correctly with the Mishimoto pipes?

Thanks much!

Took awhile for Mishimoto to ship these as they were on backorder. But worth the wait, perfect fitment and solid construction.

I recommend buying new O-Rings ($11ea, you need two) to ensure a solid seal. Part #: 11617848448

The couplers are good quality, I just wish they were solid black instead of matte grey. Might replace these with different color in the future.

I thought you could re-use the factory O-rings?

You could, but it's always good to have a couple on hand in case they get damaged when removed.
