2015 GTI for airport and road trips. 2018 M3 for pretty much everything else. I'm leaning towards driving the GTI during much of the PA winter as well.

The last GREAT looking 7 series IMHO. I still lust after it. How's the maintenance?

Maintenance has been fine. Little things here and there but if you keep up with it, it drives like like a new car.

I am a 2010 ZR1 owner but not my daily.
I split my daily between my M3 and a 2006 Buick I inherited. Buick for bad weather or I need a big trunk. |

M3 is my DD. 911 is my weekend car and track toy. The wife's X5 is the kid hauler and the "let them eat and drink in the car" vehicle.

I am in medical sales, so I leased a 2017 Jeep Patriot fully loaded. Definitely does the trick with storing lots of boxes, my rottweiler, and fitting into narrow spaces in the 5 Boroughs!
..I kinda like it too minus the 0-60 in never. |

I split my time between homes on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and Lime Rock, CT. When I am in Manhattan I don't drive every day so I do not have a daily driver. Mu "Utility" vehicle at Lime Rock is a Porsche Cayenne GTS. The car I bring into NYC varies. At the moment I am in NYC and my 2015 M4 is in the garage in my building.

I live in the city and have only one parking spot, so I have to do crazy things. My Porsche is my DD in the summer. It hibernates in storage in the winter. My BMW is my DD in the winter. It hibernates in storage in the summer. You never know what the future will bring, but the M4 may go its whole life without ever seeing its OEM summer tires (other than 1300 ED miles).
I hesitate to call either a "beater".

Never been so pumped to snag a 2005 VW Jetta TDI
So that my '17 F80 can relax during the week.
Hell I might even warrant a cover now (no garage) Best mod ever.
