Bm3 Flex fluel and OTS map?

Is anyone running the OTS map and their flex fuel system on the their F80.

I just got a 2016 F80 and currently running stage 2 with 93.

Are the gains with a custom map from Jordon or Paul alot better than than the OTS? Already spent 700$ for the Bm3 OTS maps so was hoping I didnt have to spend another 700$ for a custom tune unless its significantly better. I just have a dp, intakes and chargepipes upgraded. Stock turbos.

Thanks!

Here's some dyno on the OTS Flexfuel maps from EAS. Not my numbers but from one of their customers cars

I'm personally just running an OTS map, as a custom map power is well beyond my capabilities as a driver.

If you plan to run full E85 then skip the Flex hardware/install and jump to a single Custom E85 tune for ~575WHP. A single tune is cheapest (against Custom with MultiMap and/or Flex). There is a little risk of breaking an injector when you run full E85 since the HPFPs need the PSI to be cranked way up.

To save $ you could simply run the OTS E30 map and be around 500-525WHP. This doesn't push HPFPs into the risk zone of a broken injector, and it has more torque that you feel in the seat.

I was thinking that but since I already have the BM3 OTS map pack its a sunk cost. Plus I like the ability to get 93 when no E is available and not have to flash back and forth.

It's been a while since I've ran the OTS flex fuel map.

V1.0 OTS was pretty trash.

The existing V1.2 is pretty smooth and offers plenty of power.

I would stay on the OTS map if you are happy with it.

Otherwise go with Cary Jordan on a max effort stage 2+ tune if you want to really max out power on stock turbos.

the gains from a good flash tune are significant

I went with Cary on my M4, and the difference was as noticeable as going from stock to stage 1

I dont have any dyno numbers but an actual tune(street tune in my case) made a big difference. So I have charge pipes, j pipe, afe drop in filters, down pipes(catless), AA equal length midpipe with stock exhaust and spark plugs 97506.

on 93 with the 93 ots stage 2 map was running 9.2-9.4 consistently on the 60-130s
on e30 ots map was running 8.5s-8.8 consistently
on full e85(tested at 80%) tune by f80 paul was running 7.2s consistently(not done tuning yet) and car felt great. YOU WILL NEED TIRES to hook for the power though. And like TopJimmy said have your 93 ots map and have your full e85 map for kill mode.
