I took my car to BMW of Bayside and I'm with you guys. They misaligned my bumper when reinstalling it after replacing a headlight. It was very obvious but unfortunately i didnt have time to take it back there for a while to get it fixed.
Also, every time I go there, they disconnect my dash camera. Furthermore, the car had 15 extra miles on it the first time I went in and about 5 the second time. Not sure what they are doing by 15 miles is a lot of driving on local roads especially for minor services (2nd and 3rd year) |

BTW I have will have to take my car in for the 1200 mile service soon, too. Is there any reason for them to have to drive the car during this service?

Anywhere BUT Freeport. Oil was in the gap of the oil filter housing Not wiped up at all. Hood wasn’t shut all the way. And they bent my license plate bracket and broke the license plate frame.

BMW Manhattan is the worst by a huge margin. I've got more damage on my 440 from BMW of Manhattan than the road. No one even comes close to how bad they are. I don't even understand how BMW NA allows them to be so terrible. Sales/Service/EVERYTHING is awful.
The truth is, they all suck man. I've tried 6 different dealerships and each one fucked up my car in one way or another. You just need to pay attention to how you left your car and make sure you get it back the same way AND NEVER DO A CAR WASH. |

I go to Open Road - it's pretty close to me. But they're inconsistent. Ok for scheduled maintenance. But had some squeaking from shocks or something - never found the problem. Had noises coming from the back of the car - said it's some plastic parts in the bumper and it would cost like $400 to disassemble it and wouldn't be covered by warranty. Turned out to be problem with convertible related stuff. A guy from non-dealer body shop crawled into the trunk and had me drive a bit.
They overtighen wheel bolts well beyond recommended. Every time. When I needed to change to winter wheel, I ended up stripping a few bolts. Their advisors also change every time I come there. Which is not too often but still. |
