Hey Chris! Yeah it's all going well thanks, it's a cracking car. Not driven it that much due to back problems and still haven't used up the first tank yet lol!
But I really love it and I can see that M cars can be an addiction. I'll try and do a write up when I've actually driven it a bit more.

To just had a play out with the car after filling up with Shell's finest.
Set it up with throttle on Sport+, suspension on Sport+ and steering on Comfort. What a fantastic drive!!! Seems bags of grip and power in reserve and you never really go near the limits TBH unless you are driving like an absolute loon. Certainly feels very safe and tied down. Amazing grip and was surprised how comfortable the car is on Sport+ suspension, I didnt find it too hard at all. Its firm, but certainly not unbearable. Just one question, after going out for a spin for half an hour or so, this is the oil temp, is it correct? I know typically for cars I've had in the past the needle is usually vertical, ie in the middle. Is the below normal for full operating temperature?

Looks about right to me 100c-ish, after a 40 minute drive through London in heavy traffic I've been hard pressed to get it above the first 'notch'. Although if you press on for a decent amount of time you will notice the needle go pretty much vertical, then retreat if you calm down a bit. The brakes are on fire long before you reach 120c though.

Yep that's fine Andy. Never used Sport + suspension on the road - too stiff for me.
Kind regards 'An absolute loon'.... (apparently)

Dopper I am awaiting the arrival of my F80 CP - currently between Durban SA and Fremantle port Oz. Same exterior colour but a SO interior. Can't wait for the vehicle to arrive. Have you tried launch control?

No launch control yet, I think that gets enabled at the 1200 mile service. I'm still about 850 miles away from that.
