First wheel done. Took a lot longer than I thought it would, but some of that was my fault. The other three will hopefully be quicker! Stay tuned....

From the photo it looks like the adaptors have spaced the caliper further out than it needs to be, going by the disc face in the gap between rotor hub and the brake pad. If running BBK under 18" I'd be wanting the adapters tweaked to give me max clearance between caliper and inner wheel barrel.

I'm waiting on Ceika. They're on holiday til early Feb. I didn't want to do the video til I have a solution to the fitment issue. It wouldn't be fair to not give them a chance to get it right.
I'd say they are very similar, except that they offer crucial options that PB does not. |

Since this is more private than a YouTube video, I'll share where things are at.
I did my best to shim and trim to make these fit. I've got things as close as it'll get with the current brackets. The problem, as can clearly be seen in the photos below, is that the pads are nowhere near centered on the rotors. The front pad is overhanging the top of the rotor by a couple of mm, the rear less than a mm. The front pad is 12.7mm from the center of the machined ring, the rear is 8.7mm. The caliper at the front is 7.2mm from the top of the rotor and the rear is the same. I think roughly 5mm closer to the hub at the front and 3mm at the rear would solve things pretty well. Still won't be perfect, but should be good enough. |

It should be worth the extra investment if we can sort through the adapter issue. I'm otherwise pretty happy with this kit and looking forward to testing it in the spring!

Looks like you will have to machine the brackets to bring the caliper closer to the disc.
Had similar issue once on a K sport kit. Nothing too serious, but annoying. Also annoying that they managed to mess this up but were so close to make it right... |

I could have them machined. Honestly, I'd rather they send me new ones. Doesn't cost me anything and hopefully helps them provide the correct brackets to the next guy.

Ceika is now claiming that the calipers are exactly where they should be and that the overlap of the pads is normal. Looks like I will have to get these machined on my own. Ugh!

Maybe that is the reason why PB brakes is not offering the big 8 pot calipers on 380 mm rotors.
They only offer these calipers for 405mm discs. And there the pads would not be so close near the edge of the disc. |

I did consider that perhaps they had sent the wrong adapters. With the front 405mm rotors the calipers would be too close though. I have maybe 8mm of clearance from the caliper to the rotor. Adding 12.5mm of rotor would be 4+mm into the caliper. The rear need to be moved a couple of mm as well I think.
