It's not about the turning effort but the relative balance of grip front to rear. The bigger the discrepancy is btw front and rear tire sizes, the greater the understeer. Stock, there is 20mm difference btw front and rear tires. On this car the difference is 345mm - 275mm = 70mm difference. So under steer will likely be increased.

While car gets more overall grip due to wider tires, the massive rear tires will have much more grip in the rear of the car relative to the front which will cause the car to understeer or push.

TAG, I applaud you for this build. Great to see people pushing the envelope. It gets boring after a while seeing the same old same old. So many cars on here just have black rims, blacked out grills and CF wing and diffuser, exhaust and lowered. Its great to see a wild build like this. Reminds me of the over the top stuff from Koenig back in the day like the Koenig 512BB and Testarossa or other cool cars like the Gemballa Avalanche and the Liberty Walk cars.

Thank you. We feel the same way. Time to change up the scene and do something a little different. Not for everyone.

What is the difference from your 7" rear extension compared to Vorsteiners standard wide body?

Agreed. But no, these body kits aren't for lap time geeks.
The buyers wouldn't know understeer if it crawled out of their pants.

Different? There are already several ruined M4's out there with the same kit. It would be one thing if you were the first to ruin it!

Its the same, kit, just with our own flair in the sense of wheel fitment, ride height, color choice, etc...

We are getting down to crunch time.... The parts are mostly fitted but there is quite a bit of cosmetic massaging that needs to be done before the car gets sprayed. The debut is less than a week away!

Here you can see the front fenders fitted and the rear quarter on the drivers side installed. Now you can really see how WIDE the car really is going to be.... The front bumper is also test fitted and to make sure everything lines up.

Whats going to be exciting is that all the carbon on the car will be sprayed in Matte Clear (which the interior trim, roof, OEM BMW Performance Mirrors & Spoilers already were) to give it an even more menacing look! Stay tuned....

Continuing with more progress on the GTRS4 wide body. Here you can see that after the fenders were attached, next came the rear bumper. You may also notice that beautiful Vorstiener Carbon diffusor fits those 102mm AWE Exhaust tips nicely. More to come this week!

The rear quarters look awful, looks like a bolt on rather than following the existing beautiful lines.

Some love some hate - Either way, the build is progressing.... We are excited to do something different as we have already dont the majority of things there is to do to an M4, between exhaust systems, wheels, suspension, we've changed this car up quite a few times....

The car recieved its final finishing touches and was buttoned up and shipped off to be painted. If you notice, being on the stock wheels, the sheer mass of the rear quarter panels. Its quite exciting to see this thing take shape....

Looks like the M4 got old men diaper upgrades! Didn't know Vorsteiner made 'Depends' for the M4.
