Hey another noob question.

What are these empty spaces supposed to contain?

In the suspension kit, the slats to the left of the spanner.

And the empty spot just below the screwdriver in the onboard tool kit.

So looks like there are some small bolts in the suspension kit, what were they for?

Bottom photo is the wheel lock key if your car has it.

As best I can tell, the slots are for part number 15 in this diagram: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=31_1292

They are allegedly wheel hub bolts, which doesn't make sense. Hard to say.

My car definitely doesn't have wheel locks, I just checked.

Thanks all!

8 Bolts are to refit the chairs in EU specs if you adjust the height or angle. On my car, there are some wheel locks.

Not sure if you were able to tell, the spaces left of the spanner are for the bolts that go on the GTS front spoiler. There should be 8 bolts underneath the front spoiler if you remove the orange adjustable splitter and leave the carbon fiber front support.

From what I recall, the splitter was shipped with these cars on the back of the Rear trunk lid spoiler, cradled in some dense foam material.

He got them from Will Turner, from Turner Motorsports.

You can pay him in tacos; but they better be really good tacos

6 bolts in the splitter and they don't look like the ones pictured.

They also aren't the seat bolts.

So according to The article referenced by 9M 71, And reading some of the technical manual that was posted on the official GTS suspension thread, I think they're the breakaway bolts that you remove to do suspension adjustments.

Looks like that one picture in the article they had microencapsulated thread locker on them.

Of course I could be wrong and I often am.

It's just fun trying to sort this out while I wait for my first track day which I think it's going to be December 13 at circuit of the Americas.

Yep, this is correct. The blank spots are to store the C Clips when you lower the car to Race height.

Yeah, leather ABE Carbon Pole Positions are about $2700/ea shipped. The only difference between the BMW seat and this seat is the middle inserts. The pair of OEM inserts from BMW are $735.

So $6100 for carbon pole positions that are the same. The OEM mounts are not cheap, but Recaro + Macht Schnell parts are pretty cheap.
