I think you've been saying that companies would jump in from the beginning, good call. If AA is bringing an EQL exhaust then that was much quicker than I expected. The more the merrier. Super exciting.

This video has more sound scenarios than the others I’ve heard. It’s the Valvetronic Designs system.

leave it up to the United States to perfect a German design. I don't know what BMW was thinking, now that you can hear how good the M4/3 can sound it kinda makes you mad!

My first thought was; You mean I didn't have to drive around sounding like this, well what took so long? I guess they needed a push.

It also stirs up my cynicism a little bit lol.

Will this match up to the AA mid pipe?

No, i think you miss the point. AA midpipe merges the streams up front so that's it, no can fix after that.

Equal length needs the streams separate till the the magic bend at the back.

AA has to go in the bin if you want this sound.

...and to think, a few months ago this concept was questioned.

on a side note, I do have an interesting mid-pipe concept that won't have pipes bending all over the place, may work and mate with other secondary cat-back exhausts.

Those who aren't equal-length but have an aftermarket exhaust, sounds like you may just be able to remove your crossover section and make some revising piping to the passenger side and re-cross them over, shouldn't be too spendy.

Anyone noticed the U-bend at 1:20 mark? Wonder where they got that idea from

I don't know, I'm not sold with that sound yet. It seems to be a very tinny/hollow sound. I'm not sure if I'm explaining it right but it doesn't do it for me yet.

Wow I actually like the sound of that valvetronic exhaust. Literally the first exhaust I have liked on the F8x. Everything else has just been different tones of poo.

Damn that Valvetronic system makes the S55 sound similar to my E92 S65 with test pipes and MPE but with a cleaner note and less rasp.

It has the same exotic raspy warble in certain parts of the RPM range. The S55 can sing a beautiful note, who would have thought!??

Imagine a BMW rep seeing this thread then forwarding it to their engineering team.

Next G8x M3/M4 will have an equal length exhaust system as well.

I'm with you on that one. I'm used to the deepness of my MPE and if anyone could make that into an equal length unit that would be perfect for me, seems like one poster from Germany was close but chasing some rasp issues and hasn't posted an update.

Spool, what do you have in mind if you don't mind me (us) asking?

No specs yet, just the video that's up. All of their exhausts have their logo on each tip
