That car is a ET 25 275/30/19 front and ET 305/30/19 rear... I'm sure it's a much harsher ride due to the less sidewall and tramlines quite a bit (bigger front tire causes this)... here's my car alpine white same color wheels. Same ET as above 265/35 front and 305/30 rear. Better in the rain and better ride on average.

So you have 19x10 ET25 running on 265/35 and 19x11 ET35? running on 305/30.

Yes correct no rubbing if you ask me these offsets are as aggressive as can be.

Trying to order some wheels but I can't decide what the most appropriate offset is. I am definitely staying either with a 265/35/19 + 295/35/19 or a 265/35/19 + 305/30/19 combo. I am currently running 265/35 + 295/35 on the stock rims and it is just fine, traction has also improved significantly.

The BBS FI-Rs are currently number 1 on my list, their offset is not as aggressive: 19x9.5 ET22 and 19x10.5 ET35 which if my math is accurate translates to the outer wall of the wheel extending 4mm and 5mm less than your setup, front and rear respectively. The weight savings are fantastic though, we are talking about 25lbs of unspring weight in comparison to the stock 19 437s.

I am looking at the new HRE R101Ls but their offset is set as well:
19x9.5 ET 22 and 19x11 ET43. Not sure how I feel about the 19x11 ET43.

And then there is always the HRE R101 where you can pick your own offset but those are not as light as the BBS FI-Rs.

Btw, are you lowered? I can't tell by looking at the picture.

I am not lowered and am on Non-EDC shocks and springs. The best tire setup in my opinion is 275/30/19 and 305/30/19. I would do Michelin Super Sports no doubt next time.

Check out the HRE and BBS thread I'm sure they would be able to help you out!

Front looks good but on the back its going to be a bit aggressive. Ideally you would want something in the et 40's range. The et 25 should work however would have to step down tires probably in the 285 range or below.

In a post above, there’s a picture (see below) of a f82 with 19x11et35. Here’s the post:
https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...8&postcount=32

Tire size is not stated but it looks like a 305 (possibly a 295, definitely not wider than 305). However, to make a 305 mounted on 11et35 fit, it required significant negative camber (defeats the purpose of mounting a 305, IMO) which is shown in the picture below. Now you’ve stated you can run an 11et25, which sticks out an additional 0.39” relative to the 11et35, with a 285 along with a caveat that you really want something in the range of et40 for an 11” wide wheel. No mention of how much neg camber is required. Also, 11” is the max wheel width a 285 can be mounted on and it’ll result in a very stretched look. So would you 100% guarantee that a 285 will fit on an 11et25 with reasonable rear camber (around-2.0 deg, not -2.5 deg or even more negative) without rubbing anywhere?

I don’t understand why people buy wide wheels with poor offsets, pair them with skinny tires and then dial in as much negative camber as you can get (with aftermarket adjustable arms) just to get them to fit. In the end, they’ve bought an 11” wide wheel yet have less rubber on the road than the stock 275 mounted on a 10et40. Now’s a good time for the Chewbacca defense.
