300 if you pay in one go 64 plate,
Consider that the 17/18 models should be under the new VED tax If I remember correctly should be 1200£ for the first 3 years But double check with DVLA about this |

Yeah, 30th March! Yikes, I didn't even know about these new tax rates for April '17 onwards. £1200 for first year?! Another reason not to buy a brand new car...
I learnt recently that when you buy a brand new car you pay VAT on the full price, which is the main reason you lose so much as soon as you drive it off the forecourt. You don't pay VAT on 2nd hand cars, only the dealer pays VAT on their profit. |
