Which M4 to buy

If you had a choice between these 3 vehicles, which would be your FIRST choice (assuming all 3 vehicles are listed for the same price):

1. 2016 M4 Competition (White Exterior, Black Interior, 31,000 kms)
2. 2016 M4 (White Exterior, Red Interior/Seats, 17,000 kms)
3. 2016 M4 (Black Exterior, Black Interior, 28,000 kms)

I would go with #2 if you are planning on modding your car with suspension and tune.

If not I would choose number one. Price is also a big factor

If I drive about 50,000 kms in the next 5 years, which of those 3 would hold it's value the best?

And yes, I do plan to tune.

The comp is the much better buy in terms of car and value over a 5 year time frame.

All these models will tank hard just like all previous ones(look at e92 prices atm). But you will have more potential buyers looking for a comp pack vs non comp.

Besides value. I previously had a 2015 non comp m4 and now have a manual 2018 comp pack. Comp pack is a better sorted out car, so if they are the same price its a no brainer for me.

Competition. None of these "hypotheticals" are on carsales.... Funny how the M3s are near the same money now as comparable M4s.

Forget option 3. That is the worst value proposition out of the bunch.

31k kms over 17k kms isn't a big enough difference to warrant.

If the comp pack had about 50k kms, then it would be more comparable.

So yes the higher end comp spec would be the best value proposition.
