Looking at the pictures on their website, they look EXACTLY like the VLAND lights.

Just saw a set of these in the wild. The turn signals are absolutely awfully dim. Nope. Sticking with the OE LED's.

I've had both V1 and V2 and yeah, they are almost impossible to see in direct sunlight. Wish they'd fix the turn signal brightness. Brake lights and the running lights are just as bright as OEM.

Has anyone else noticed how ugly looking the brake lights are? I had the chance to drive behind my car this weekend, and the V2 red brake lights looked like cheap halogen Christmas tree bulbs. That compounded with the excessive start-up sequence + dim turn signals, I'm debating taking these off the car.

Honestly have you ever seen the brake lights on pre LCI cars?

It was just an incandescent bulb too.

Yes, the difference is the fake OLED tail lights have 4x the amount of ugly bulbs as the pre-LCI tail lights, hence the Christmas tree analogy.

Unless you're an owner marching toward a hs diploma, leave the factory lights, all of them, the f alone.

Happy Thanksgiving!

To each their own, I think the replica OLED brake lights on the M3 are better than the OEM LCI and Pre-LCI tail lights. The OEM tail lights only light up in the corners while braking and not at all on the trunk portion which kind of make them fake brake lights. It's as bad as the middle xenon projectors being fake which bothered me enough to retrofit to the LED lights.

I had purchased some BayOptiks sequential lights for my F80, but I am thinking I might just keep stock. If anyone is interested let me know. I have them posted in the exterior classifieds as well.

Good to know. I stripped on myself but was able to work around it. Will need to do this if I swap tails in my future.

Just a quick update:

I have 40 plus sets in stock again. PM for a promo code and I'll get you sorted. I have extended the warranty on these lights to 3 years. Anything happens, I will replace it for free.

On to ICON lights now. Wish me luck!

I've wanted to pull the trigger on some GTS tails for my F82 pre-lci for quite some time now. After seeing a lot of reviews regarding low brake and turn signal output, I'm going to hold off.

Has anyone addressed this issue yet? Is it really that bad?

You may be the first post I've seen with these issues with the F82. I've read there was a batch of F80 lights that had a light turn signal.

The F82 lights don't have this issue. The earlier batches of the F80 lights had this problem. Thanks.
