That is a cool feature to see available. I will have to dig into how I can go about getting it when I finally get an Apple smartphone. I have been aloof on if I can update my car's current version to the newer available software drops.

In regards to the brag, it cannot be that good of a refined French cuisine if the OP is only spending an hour there. Unless of course, the calendar entry was created in haste to show the neat feature.

I saved the thread regarding those remedies prior to my ///M arriving, but haven't gone back to review and buy any of the items needed to Band-Aid over the issues. I've already had the break in service and hadn't noticed them before, so I rather not make an appt just for that.
It's not really a band-aid. Cleaning the trim and lubricating it properly is normal maintenance. Just like cleaning and caring for the leather in your car. Or washing your car. Or checking and topping up fluids. Or maintaining proper tire pressure.

Just sayin'.

You're confusing normal maintenance with just general care. No one ever needs to wash their car or clean the leather. But you do need to maintain fluid level and tire pressure. The first 2 won't kill your car, the second 2 will.

Squeaky trim to me is general care. It's something you can do, but you shouldn't have to. How many other cars develop squeaky trim in the first 3000 miles? Not a single one I've ever owned.

The plot thickens. Yes, it's the #1 restaurant in NY according to Zagat. Very pricey, very exclusive. The kind of place you want people to think you frequent.

I'm guessing he probably just added it for illustrative purposes.

didn't realize anyone on an m3 forum would even care. Not like everyone here doesn't have at least one car worth 70k right?

The rest of my cal has personal info and this was the first day that wasn't.

Event is blocked off 1 hour because my computer auto created it from scanning my emails

Flight shows up after dinner because I'm taking the red eye from lax the night before. Bmw cal shows it incorrectly in the list but correctly on the right side display

Restaurant name in the pic has now been censored to avoid bragging

Any other questions?

Le Bernardin was mediocre in my opinion. Food/service/whatever was "perfect", but not memorable at all. I had a much better time at EMP, Atera, Brooklyn Fare, and a whole slew of other places.

I learned that while on the main screen of the iDrive, pressing the 'Menu' button on the center console will bring up additional shortcuts.

I noticed when I press the heated steering wheel button, I see a notification on the dash that it was turned on but it doesn't stay there or there is no icon indicating that it's on.... is that what you meant or am I missing something here?

No that is what I meant you only see it for a second or 2 but my 2014 didn't even do that so a small win I guess

The Del Taco near my freeway entrance has excellent service. I found the chicken burrito just sublime! The coca-cola was a good vintage as well!

It was 45^C here in the SF bay area today, so mostly normal ...
