Now the issue was getting it off. I dont own a forklift and the ramp on the uhaul wont carry the weight. How did i get it off? When heading out of my neighborhood to go rent a lift for 500 i saw this guy. my luck.

What you need is pretty much included in the lift expect for an air compressor, grease gun, approach ramp because my car is lowered, air hose line, and some lift points (made mine out of wood from the pallet).

It seems safe with three saftey measures, but it still scary with a 4k car on your head.

Overall its awesome to work on. Removing my springs and some exhaust work has been a breeze.

I will post more when i get my M3 home.

Thanks for the information. We're building a custom home right now with a really large garage... But I'm going to probably do a 30x40 or 50' detached shop and possibly just get one of those lifts.

I'll have to figure out the logistics once the time comes...

Some impressive garages in here. I really like the enclosed water heater setup in the first one. Classy and creative way to hide it.

Here's mine. All of the cars have been sold except the NSX to make room for the 2 (two) F80 M3s that we have on order (ED Oct 13). I hate the polyaspartic floor. It looks like crap in person. No joke. Was supposed to be charcoal color, perfectly glossy etc... ended up dolphin grey, varying textures from spray paint look to smooth, roller marks, damages very easy, tire prints, etc... Huge amount of money wasted on that. I still have a LONG ways to go with this garage. But for now it is clean and my gear is easy to access.

I'll post updates when the M3s are in it.

Probably not the best picture to capture the garage. But it shows how I can cram 3 cars into my crappy, unfinished 2-car garage.

My Garage is still IN PROGRESS but let me share what i have so far.

Still to come:

1) Need to lay down the black tiles along the left wall. they need to be cut slightly. Also need to cut a few tiles to fit under the sink and around the support beam.

2) Tool Box and Storage for all my major tools

3) Two Gladiator Closets and Work Bench lining up the left wall

4) Hangars for my RaceDeck ramps and other garage paraphernalia

5) Brilliant White Rocker Switches for all power and light outlets

5) Some Wall Art (Motorsports Related)

6) F80 M3 Parked inside . The E90 just sold

I live in the center of Paris so I have to manage with a narrow parking lot. I have found the idea to make some bubble paper sticked to the sides of the car to protect from my parking neighbors because they have SUV with children who don't care when they open their doors When i saw all of your amazing garage, I thought that I have to share this with you !!! ^^

Classic! Not sure how the effective the bubble wrap will be against doors though...

I guess it depends on the type of bubbles... they have some larger, more rugged ones.

Here is an interesting product: http://www.doorshox.com/

Also, a more empiric way is to hang some styrofoam sheets from the ceiling and have them there permanently (putting some weight at the bottom that way they will not move much), they just have to hang right over the 2 parking lanes if you know what I mean, it could work......
