You're not kidding. I would love to go to Barber.
I want to plan a nice two weeks where I can do Road Atlanta/Sebring/Barber. Quote:

Last Saturday morning sunrise at COTA, looking East.
The weather was cold, waiting on the track to go hot. In line 3 M’s.

HoD at Thunderhill.
Blue M3s like to forage in the flowers when a 911 cup car dumps coolant on the entire track. I happened to be fairly close to the spray at T9, and the ABS went into wet/ice mode. I exited the track at 50~60mph. I now need to vacuum a bunch of grass from the radiators. The pic with a blue Viper ACR is pretty cool as well. Looks like a space ship when you are next to it. |

Another awesome day at Laguna with CFRA club. I noticed that more and more people are starting to use the BMW M2 CS Racing car. It is a pretty nice turn key solution.
And a video of my fast lap. Not quite a PB, but I am still getting used to the suspension and it ought to produce a much faster time with some practice. |

Drove the M4 on the track for the first time this weekend at Atlanta Motorsports Park with Just Track It! I haven't been on track in 12 years! I signed up for the Novice Instructed class since I hadn't driven that track before and it was my first outing in the M4 where I could actually beat on the car. We had a blast! The M4 was seriously good and it's obvious it can be an absolute weapon on track with minimal mods. The track layout was awesome, lots of elevation and zero straightaways. AMP really does feel like your favorite fast back road.
The car has KW V3 coilovers, Vorshlag plates, PFC 11 brake pads, MPE exhaust and the equal length resonated midpipe. Everything else is still factory original. terrible angle video footage of final session : |
