Hi,

Is the graphic below correct in terms of the diff oil needing a change every 3rd oil change? Mine has done 57k miles now and last year had it's third oil change but didn't get the diff done at the local indi garage.

It's due another oil service in 10k miles which at current rate of progress I'll get to the two year point before so plan to get the DCT/diff done anyway as well as the next major service ( spark plugs done in 2018 at 36k ).

Don't quote me but I believe spark plugs are every 3rd oil change and diff fluid is every 30k miles.

This is for European markets per TIS:

One oil change is 30k km/ 18.6k miles or 24 months

Spark plugs every 2nd oil change = 60k km
Diff fluid every 3rd oil change = 90k km

I had my 5th oil change service done at my dealer this week. CBS indicate I needed oil change and brake fluid service. Then the SA told me I also needed the diff service. I didn’t believe him at first thinking that CBS would tell me about the diff service, so I did some research and found the following. It turns out diff service is needed every 5th oil change.

Note that this schedule is for North America, and other parts of the world may have a different schedule.

Thanks - I've just missed off a diff oil change which should have been on the last oil change (3rd). Also just priced up DCT service as well.

Are you replacing your DCT fluid? I’ve seen this being controversial on here
