Lol. That's an 'O' not a Zero. This isn't over yet.

Mr. Trump won't be removed from office and the blow back isn't over.
You said he wouldn't be impeached. You were wrong.

But you'll claim are right every time. Like Mr. Trump.

I was wrong about the depravity of the Democratic party and their ability to run roughshod over our system of juris prudence. They did impeach him and I was incorrect on my prediction.

Now back to the title of the thread and the choices and why this isn't over yet. We still have the senate vote and 2 more investigations to complete. When those are complete, this will be over. Not until then.

Two party line votes with the exception of a couple of Dems that voted Nay and one Independent voting Yea. Cleary the Dems failed to convince even one Rep that there was sufficient evidence to impeach on either resolution.

IMO impeachment should be strongly bi-partisan as the House as a whole body should be offended by the conduct of the President such that it seeks this remedy. One party being offended should be insufficient to impeach or remove. Perhaps a super-majority in the House would be a better requirement going forward; otherwise the shit-show will become a new routine, a new normal. One party simply has to have enough evidence and argument to convince a substantial number in the other party for there to be any credibility to the process or vote.

Fox News legal analyst Andrew Napolitano on Wednesday argued that there is "undisputed evidence" that President Trump abused the power of his office in his dealings with Ukraine, asserting that the "remedy of impeachment is acutely needed" because of it.

"In Mr. Trump's case, we have undisputed evidence that he abused his power by inviting a foreign government to interfere in the 2020 presidential election and then compounded this by directing subordinates to refrain from giving congressionally commanded evidence of his behavior," Napolitano, a fierce Trump critic, wrote in a Washington Times op-ed ahead of the House vote on articles of impeachment.
"Napolitano, a fierce Trump critic"

Yeah, that's an unbiased, credible source. you have got to stop watching faux news. I bet you love hannity as well...
So if you disagree your biased. Got it. Clearly you don't know jack about Judge Napolitano.

What will?.the fact that his impeachment is invalidated by the senate and he wins a second term? He is smarter than you. He realizes its a railroad job. He thrives on this shit. Just bc you would never be able to handle it. He is orders of magnitude above your sense of defeatism.

If Trump does not get reelected then impeachment was a success. Nobody accept for the fringe thought the Senate would convict.

LOL to all of that.

He is the third president in history to be impeached. This will make him go even more bonkers. Sit back and enjoy the show.

I’m not a US citizen, and I mean no offense by this, so don’t take it the wrong way.
But this is not a happy day
Whether you like him or not
Whether you are republican or Democrat
It’s a sad day for US politics when the president is impeached

Democrats wanted him out since day one
Republicans will defend him no matter what he does
I think both parties messed up on this, they are both wrong.
Their is no victor when you choose party over country
And that applies to both of them

Just saw a video from 2008 where Trump claims George W Bush should be impeached, for lying about the Iraq war.

Ironic.

There was a bipartisan vote. Three non-Republicans sided with them.

Democrats election night and beyond plans:

We were robbed parades in the bastions of the highly educated and morally superior. Meanwhile, the lesser of value folks will be inside their modest homes in bfe USA scratching their high school graduate heads while saying "will you just look at those animals" while watching on TV. Then it's off to bed. They have to work the next morning.

Of course these same superiority complex folks will fully support the right to demonstrate as it further advances critical thinking and the nation as a whole. The MSM will fully agree.
I guarantee it.

I known I sound like a broken record but for the Republicanss (GOP) I'm convinced their defense of Trump is based solely on his power to nominate federal judges and there is at least one justice on the Supreme Court who is due to retire or step down (health reasons) within the next couple of years. The US Senate confirms the judges and the GOP will probably hold on to the majority after this election.

Supreme Court justices serve for life and they have become ever more influential because the Legislature continues to either write bad law and/or delegate its powers to the Executive branch.

I worry once this is wrapped up by the end of February we'll get reports of Russians supporting the likes of Bernie Sanders or Bloomberg between then and Nov 2020.. How will the GOP act then?

Is it possible for Trump to be impeached again during his next term? The economy seems to be doing great while everyone focuses on impeachment, would love to see this again in his next term...
