Im leaning towards just getting 18s and going aftermarket wheels. The 19s are one of the worst visual aspects IMO.

Interesting that in the UK, we get many more options thrown in at the base price (which is higher), including active suspension and 19" rims. I've gone for the grey rims, and decided I didn't like the black option.
Are the US cars limited to 155mph like the UK ones

Having read a few of the threads on this issue, I have found that I'm probably in a class of 1 - that is, I prefer the black (I like the two tone effect) and have specified these along with Black Saphire paintwork. Fortunately we get 19" rims as standard in the UK. The 18" look horrible on the configurators, but perhaps they'll look better in the flesh.

Afte a few more looks... I'm going YMB with black wheels. The silver look good (classy), but I feel that the black give the car a bit more of a sports car look

Yep. I've already been asking the dealership (not expecting this to actually happen) if I can special order mine with the ZCP wheels if they'll fit. In black though this time, the GTS version.

After checking out many pics, I came to the conclusion that factory two tone black wheel only looks great on sapphire black M4.
It doesn't really suit that well on other bright colors. |

I saw the wheels in DC and they were all black. It's the design of the wheel that makes the outer parts look silverish. To me, the 19" design is terrible. This is why I went with the 18's. Plus the will be removed the first day I have the car.

In person there was an initial appeal of the black/silver combo, but with all the shadows in the convention center and looking close, it faded quickly. Silver would look better with all the paint colors IMHO.
