I deleted it long time ago. It's back to late July or early August. Not that important now lol.

Not a bad thought, should do ok with it from that standpoint.

Trade/Wholesale pricing on 18 M3/4 CS's have been around 60 so this is pretty solid/slightly cheap. If it checks out... go for it!
This is exactly right. I learned the M3 CS is largely viewed as a regular M3 when I tried to sell mine to CarMax about 5 months after I started my lease. They offered me a figure in the low $60k range. That told me everything I needed to know.

I chickened out. Car should be back up soon. It’s at cmax white marsh if interested. Thanks again for all the help. Back to a search for a more mundane m3 (not that is really a thing).

White (probably the one the guy thought the hood was jacked, just both latches not closed).

Stock no. 19350424

Yeah must be it. I called them asking what was up with the hood. They said they'd check and call me back. They never called me back... Next thing I knew it was gone. Luckily I found a CPO local (much more though) $60k is a great deal.

I was having the same issue earlier; you have to search by the stock number to see it.

I see it now. White just don't do them justice. Looks like it has tinted tailights but they maybe just the extremely poor lighting and pictures.

I have a CS and I am in a CS owners facebook group (where about 40% of the global CS owners are also members). There are a few other CS's that didnt have the CS hood. We have no explanation for it.

Yeah the CS values are wacky to say the least. I have a 2018 with 3k miles and no accident history and was offered 45k by Tesla's online configurator. Followed that up with Carvana and was offered 52.

Its because they didn't shut the hood on the pass side, for whatever reason CarMax photo takers struggle with that. (not the first time ive seen this)

That just means someone reserved it for a test drive. They put it back as available if the customer doesn't go through with the sale. I know because I took a 981CS on a test drive and it was marked as sale pending.

Must have been a good test drive! BTW if anyone is in the market, because of covid Carmax is letting you test drive the car for 30 minutes without a sales rep. Not sure if they did that previously, but they were doing it just a few weeks ago.

Not great pics but $60k is a good deal if it checks out. Looks like the original orbit grey 763s were swapped out for black or painted.

So I've been on the hunt for one as well. 60k seems like an absurdly good deal.

What's a realistic "good" price for low mileage specimen?

To be honest, the non-private resale/trade-in has me worried. I'm not looking to invest, but would at least like SOME equity for the future. And even at used prices, it's a huge hit. Yeesh.

its not a good time to buy a CS right now. i'd recommend a lease takeover.

buy one when they they start getting returned to dealers off lease in the summer of 2021. most were 100k msrp with a 60% residual (residual is tied to mrsp, not sale price). so i'd imagine they will be right around $60k or less after they are turned in and sit for a few weeks.

Yep, you can't even get a trade/value for a CS currently on the major sources, sorta strange.

BMW own parts database they send out to body/repair shops even shows the OE wheels are 666 and not 763m even though realoem shows it being correct, I learned this the hard way when I was trying to fight the other parties insurance company as they kept suggesting my wheels were aftermarket.
