Were you the former owner of this Mineral Gray M3?

Looks like the car has been modded a bit. Curious why they sold it and if someone knows the history.

Thanks.

I would not consider that car modded. Everything on it is an OEM option that can be ordered at build.

CCB, MPE w/Titanium Tips, M Perf Wheel, CF bits for shifter and handbrake, M pedals

I know a ton of people who buy a car, drive it for 10k miles, and move on.

Considering the price tag of this one (CCBs, etc), i would say it is one of those people. THey typically have more money than they know what to do with. Also since this is a 6/14 build date, it is also one of the first to roll off the line. Typically these types of people like to have the newest and greatest, and once people start getting them as well, they sell.

I bet he traded it in for the newest and best porsche, just because. I wouldnt be scared of it/.

It's not MPE though. I would have reverted to stock and sold MPE for $4k.

Now that is an interesting question.

Porsche CCB brake's resale value is correlated with the remaining lifespan left in the pads/rotors. I would imagine something similar would transpire with BMW ones.

Personally, I would demand a discount for used CCBs, as they are obscenely expensive to maintain, and suck in the below-freezing temperatures. I suspect an average seller would have a hear attack at that prospect

As to MPE, the value of most used performance aftermarket exhausts is either zero, or negative. But MPE is a BMW part, so who knows.

This is in Texas though. What are these "below freezing temperatures" you speak of?

Based on the E9X M3's MPE experience, used MPEs are still selling for at least $1500. MSRP was like $2300 or so IIRC.

I ran a carfax on it and it came back clean. The only thing unusual is that the only mileage reported is the first date of when it was sold and registered at the dealer on 7/28/14. A year later on 7/1/15 it says reg renewed but shows no mileage update. Oh well
