At first I was jumping around the color pallet.. but now I seemed to have settled on BSM or YMB for the m4. I was considering MW, and while it's a great color, I think I may get bored of it after a while. I don't think any of the colors are "bad," it's all just personal preference.

Another first world problem is having to choose between silver or black wheels. I'm not a fan of black wheels bc it looks ghetto sometimes. Right now I have a black car with silver wheels and I love the contrast.. so most likely will get silver wheels.

Right now I'm leaning toward Tanzanite Blue with a Platinum interior, ash grain w/ metal inlay trim.

The thing I'm having a hard time figuring out is if ordering individual options is even a possibility. Right now the dealer is telling me that individual paint and ED means waiting a couple of months until the regular dealer pipeline is filled. (Waiting a couple of months before I can even place the order, not just waiting for them to build it.) He has also said that individual styling and/or ED might not even be possible on the first year of production.

This is my first time buying a high end car of any type. Do any of the dealers here or people with past experience know if what I'm hearing sounds right or is the dealer just hoping to get me into one of his own cars?

Tanzanite blue would be my choice as well. And my dealer here in Germany also keeps telling me that individual is not yet possible to order. Can't even say when ...

I wouldn't say YMB looks like poop but I would agree this car should have had a darker blue option. I have no doubt I would have gone that route.

Though I might not be in for buying until LCI comes out, I am definitely thinking about Mora Metallic - very rare color these days but looks amazing:

This car begs for some neon ground effects.

I know Sakhir Orange is going to be one of those colors no one bought, but when they see it in person they will drool over it.

Another reason why BMW should have had this color represented at one of the many auto shows across the country.

+1 I was obsessed with it in high school.

However, if I could get any color on the M4, it would be individual Melbourne Red or Tanzanite Blue.

Of the available colors, I'd go with Mineral White.

Mineral grey, black leather & CF interior finish with the black wheels. I like "under the radar" simple, understated and stylish.
