It Would be interesting to see how the bank/credit union values this car - they must be using KBB values and it will be hard to justify this/current price.
Why are you assuming there's issues getting a loan? The buyer is applying for a loan and is waiting.

If it's been more than a couple days, then I agree there are "issues" and the buyer needs to get off the pot. But yeah.
Typically it takes a few hours (max 1 day) to get approved. The things get complicated and delayed when you have issues with income, credit score, value of the loan, collateral... and the underwriter has to reassess the risk.

This car can tricky. 77.5k for a car that has a KBB around 60k (?). 130% loan-to-value is almost unsecured loan level.

I really feel for you and am the same way,it is very difficult to live with. I keep thinking I'll outgrow it but it's still persistent, that's why I cancelled a new car order and bought a used nice condition m3. There were already some minor flaws chips scratches etc.. but now I can just enjoy the car! Best of luck to you also.

I wish I would had seen this before I jumped on my current vehicle. It's a beauty. Oh well. You should keep it. I know how you feel though. I'm kind of going through the same but I'm keeping my car.

When I applied to my credit union we chatted a bit and they mentioned a great deal of people in Florida apply for M cars who are nowhere near being able to afford them so they shop around until they find a place that approves them with terrible rates and end up way over their heads. I believe it. Especially in Florida. Why is Florida terrible for everything?

Someone was supposed to send a deposit late last week but it hasn't arrived yet. So it's still available until I get his check.

Ask for a wire transfer and you will get the funds in a few hours.

He was to have already sent the check late last week and it has not arrived yet. There is another buyer who wants the car but was willing to pay slightly less so I am waiting to see what happens with the first buyer.

I'd keep the car man, it's beautiful and you are going to lose your a** on it if you sell it. Just keep it as a weekend car or just drive it on occasion. The spec is perfect !

Shame that OP had a change of heart so soon after delivery.

Lurked this topic since inception, hope all went well.

We should do a lottery here. 77 forum members buy a $1,000 ticket and we pick 1 winner.

It's not worth 77 anymore sadly. Its depreciating faster than the seller lowers the price. I wish he'd keep it, its a beauty.

The sad thing is it would go quick for 70k, and at the end of the day that extra $7k hit probably wouldn't be the end of the world for the OP. It's really chump change in the grand scheme and an expensive but necessary lesson. IMHO take the hit and move on, it's been a year.

Let someone else enjoy it.

If only 77 tickets are sold and we can verify the drawing/escrow, I'm in. Was just going to blow the money on some more guns soon anyway.
