M4 Propeller Recall
Just got the recall letter in from bmw, my car is a 66 plate M4. Anyone in the UK had this done, and is the driveshaft replacement cfrp or steel?
Ps, the recall is also on the gov website, just need to type in your reg plate. |

Yeah, I know, but bmw letter top line says ‘Replace the propeller shaft F80 F82 F83’ probably sounds a bit more vague than the driveshaft may pop out!

Yep me too. Got my letter Saturday. I was concerned my lovely carbon fibre drive shaft was going to be replaced with a steel one but it looks like that is not the case.

My cars going into BMW next wednesday for replacement modified carbon prop shaft. Seen the part last night.
