The shop just installed the kit and put the front on lowest setting but it doesnt look like it. What could be the problem?

I just did the installation myself this weekend. Here's what I noted down as areas to check before calling it done:
1. Front strut 18mm bolts all needed to be tightened and rechecked. You need a strut bolt socket, 18mm, with a cut out. Tightening the bolts is confusing as things feel like they're getting tight, then the bolt starts to center the strut into the mounting hole. The bolt suddenly feels loose again so you have to start tightening some more to get the correct torque. 2. Ensure that the shop seated the springs properly in both top and bottom rubber mounts. They can spin out of alignment when reassembling. In my case the rubber spring cover wasn't centered on the strut bearing. This caused one side to be about 5mm higher. 3. What is the current height measurement in mm from the bottom of the rim to the top of the fender? Photo angles make it difficult to tell if your setup is too high on the lowest setting. I counted 28mm of thread adjustment on the front and rear spring assembly. Setting mine to about 14mm looks perfect. If I drop to the lowest setting my stock 666m wheels will have virtually no gap and would be considered slammed. |

The knuckle on the strut most likely is not fully seated properly
