1) Same block, same crank, same turbos, and pretty much everything in the engine, except for the intake system.
2) First section of the exhaust looks unique, starting at the end of the manifolds.
3) The final section visually looks the same as the M performance system, but GTS catalog has individual parts, whereas the M4 catalog has a single part for the M-perf upgrade. Assuming that if they are different, it's material.
4) Obviously bespoke shocks and springs. Uprights are also unique. But, oddly the swaybars listed are the normal sways, not the competition sways. With stiffer springs I can see them not needing to upgrade the sways, but I'm still a bit surprised.
5) Prop shaft is the same? Didn't they say it had an optimized prop shaft? Diff seems to be the same as well.
It would surprise me if GTS shared the same part number with MPE upgrade, as the later is intended for cutting the stock system and clamping the MPE midsection over it. GTS obviously has a one piece mid pipe.

Why not? You have people spending thousands on tacky body kits, wheels, carbon fiber and the like. Taillights could be someone else's fancy.

They sure will, and knowing this forum they will sell their car a few months later because they want a different color.

Improved Steering Feedback (No-elastic section)

Does anyone know anything about the no-elastic section in the steering column to improve steering feedback...all the part numbers are the same, so what would need to be done to fix that, does anyone know?

The toothed steering rack is more direct-drive and doesn't have the i-var ratio notches - more likely all the same-sized notches and the angle of the torsion bar/steering input is more controlled by the driver and less by the EPS system

This specific cross point between the torsion bar input most likely is where the standard M, the competition package M and the GTS differentiate

This fusion between these two members literally defines the on-center, off-center feel of the car - this is where can feel a penny on the pavement and how well of a supporting cast you have in the dynamics/kinematics of the suspension, weight, tires, rims etc.

BMW gives you the best chassis dynamics at a price point

Curious about this and the "Swivel Bearings" in the front that allow for a wider wheel/tire combo. Where did you find this info?

Unfortunately it has the same part number from GTS to standard M4 from what I can tell.

It's a shame. Guess I'll have to get an F80 M then...

You will be asked to show that you own a BMW M4 GTS by providing the VIN number and also that equipment is of legal requirement of your country.

Don't know if newer models also have it, but could it be the mini guibo disc fond on older models.

There is way to purchase them without VIN through some route in Korea.

No. Because they will request that the GTS is registered in South Korea.

The exhaust system is described as titanium, so that would rule out it being the same as the MPE. Plus the tip design is different with the GTS being more stock like that the MPE.

they changed that rule a while ago and many m4 owners dont seem to know about the csl/ how the csl ordering procedure were back then. But you can get an csl trunk now without the vins idk how this will go.
