Adhesive residue on a spoiler

I just bought this used spoiler yesterday.
Does anyone know how to remove this adhesive residue? This is not from a tape, I guess it is more likely urethane glue.

If this residue is not a big deal for the installation and paints on the trunk, I would like to just leave it and remove the tape residue only.

Could you please give me some advice?

I usually just roll it off with my thumb if its rubbery. Is that not possible?

yeah, it is really hard stuck on the surface. I cannot roll it off like adhesive tape. When I tried to remove with my thumbs or floss, it won't come out. Only a very tiny nano small piece comes off.

Plastic razor blade scraper and lightly heat with a hair dryer.

I use heat from a heat gun and 3m automotive adhesive remover

I normally use a heat gun and a plastic razor blade or a heat gun and rubber gloves to roll it off but this looks more permanent, something my brother in law had on his VW GLI where if you do a quick search people had major issues with it pulling up the paint off the trunk, it was almost cement like. We had such a hard time getting it off and he needed to respray tiny parts of the trunk afterwards

This stuff is called betalink that BMW uses to install OEM spoilers and such. It's a whole different level of pain in the ass to remove than 3M tape. That being said, I did a combination of adhesive wheel linked above, 3M adhesive remover, and some heat/plastic razor. What worked best was the 3M adhesive remover and a plastic razor to take it off and get it as thin as possible. I was able to install my used OEM spoiler that way and there are no gaps.

I also used some 3M adhesion promoter on the trunk/spoiler to get it to really stick on. I installed it the day before a track day so didn't want it flying off haha.

I ended up using a plastic razor blade and 3m adhesive remover to take it off as thin as possible so that the new 3m tape will stick on the trunk properly.

I took a lot of time to take this off and install my spoiler, but I enjoyed this DIY installation cuz it was my first mod on my M4

I've used this rubber wheel and it comes off easy. look out for the dust which can be wiped or blown away with air compressor.
