BSM and leather wrapped DCT shift knobs

I wanted to try something different for the shift knobs in my black sapphire metallic f83. I already have the dct surround trim in black sapphire metallic and I tried there 2 options: bsm painted knob and one wrapped in leather. What do you all think? Gotta decide which one goes one as I only have one of the plastic/glass piece!

The leather definitely looks more interesting. Can you post pics after? And where did you get it wrapped?

I would also go with the leather variant, nice work and subtle appearance

Thanks for the comments!

The leather looks different but the BSM one was much easier to paint. The leather one, I got some scrap leather from Etsy and am trying to glue it to the corners but its pretty difficult (alteast for me) to get a perfect finish.

I like the comment about painting it first and then wrapping. Going to try that that this weekend and use some of the lessons learned from doing the first one.
