Full stock..and car was not pass break-in..no launch control..and full power was not there..we will be running again..but it's to cold right now..his car is tuned..and catless down pipes..but from a dig it was close..also he just did a vid where he ran against a regular. M3 and that car was left in the dust like it was standing still..so i think it was a pretty good run.

Dr. Beasley’s matte coating gave me way better sheen results on my frozen white car than the nano did.

mmm...not sure I agree with that statement, i have used DB matte coating, it doesn't give you a real coating as the BMW nano wax but if you like it more good for you

May work for you on the frozen black but for me on the white car the results were way better.

As promised, advanced feedback from the BMW Matte Nano Wax
I finally applied it yesterday (the Swissvax Opaq done in November was still partially on - it seems to hold very well on the paintwork, but not so well on the protective film).

So, first impressions:
-You can definitely tell that the BMW Matte Nano Wax and the Swissvax Opaque are not the same product (as someone suggested may be the case)
- Visually I could/can not tell any difference between the effect of the Swissvax Opaque and BMW Matte Nano waxes. I suspect it could be very much dependent on the colour (you have a more contrasting black underneath, I have silver metallic). I specifically looked under different angles at 2 adjacent panels, one still with the Swissvax (or what was left of it, if anything, after cleaning it with Swissvax Pre-cleaner Opaque), one freshly done with BMW Matte Nano Wax and could not tell any difference. My GF couldn't either
- The BMW wax smells really good (not that the Swissvax smells bad)
- The BMW wax is definitely more economical. I did the entire car with a fraction of the box, whereas I needed bigger quantity of the Swissvax previously for the same job! The BMW wax comes in a bigger pack as well. So assuming at least similar performance, the BMW one should be better value for money!
Obviously I cannot yet report anything about the effect of the wax and its durability, as it was applied just yesterday, but I will, after some time. I am really hoping it performs at least as good as the Swissvax, which lasts easily for 6 months in my environment.

Thank you again for the recommendation!

I use the opportunity to also ask some questions:
- Do you remove the old wax every time before renewing it and if yes – what do you use to do so?
- Do you use anything to maintain in in the meantime?

This is very informative. Getting a frozen black M4 so its good to see the information, since this is my first frozen car. I have a ton of questions but will research first.

I am glad you like it (at least the smell lol)
No,i dont remove the old wax when applying a new coat, basically the old coat is gone when i apply the new one, you can tell it by touching the surface, it is not longer as smooth as when you applied the wax, i only use Dr Beasleys matte car shampoo in between applications, nothing else, i wash my car every weekend

Ow, that could explain the relatively short durability of the wax you mentioned earlier. I suspect every wash, no matter how gentle, shortens it's life.
I endeavour to wash as rear as possible, but also before things get messy. I give it a nice shower with just water in-between, as required.

I will gladly share my experience with the wax when I collect some It might very well be a placebo, but it could be changing the look a bit after all, depending on the light. It looked very "sleek" in a satin kind of way the other day...

Since you mentioned shampoo - have you tried different ones? How did you end up with Dr. B? I have so far only tried Swissvax Opaque, which I am not impressed with at all (too little to no foam, non-slippery, IMO increased risk of scratches) and Chemical Guys Meticulous, which I am very happy with and would recommend. Nice foaming, nicely slipping, good cleaning effect and nice smell of bubble-gum . Just about to buy a big pack of it as my small one is getting low.

I have frozen blue and I use DB matte car wash and it's soapy. The bottle is little but lasted me 2 months and I wash frequently. I would recommend it. Pic after a wash.

I ended up using DB body wash because of what you just mentioned, it makes a good foam, i used to buy swissvax and hated that there was no foam, it felt like i was washing it with plain water so decided to buy DB and i am very happy with it so havent looked for other options

4 months since I applied the BMW Nano Wax (the car has admittedly not been driven for a bit over 1 month out of that). I will soon provide my impression, I am sure it would help others.

The reason for writing however is that I remembered you wrote you have used Dr. Beasley's products (for matte paint). Have you specifically used Dr. Beasley`s Matte Paint Sealant? Any thoughts about it?

Any of the Dr. Beasley`s Matte products that are worth considering?

I use the DB body wash, sealant and final finish, the sealant every 3 months to seal the paint before applying the bmw nanowax.
I use the final finish to clean hard to remove stains, not exactly the use that this product is for but I found it is very good for this purpose, even better results than the paint cleanser

Thanks. So you do use the Sealant and the BMW nano-wax on top?
I was under the impression you are not too happy with the shine of the sealant?
And how do you even do that - you do a complete IPA wipe down every 3 months!?

I contacted DB as the Sealant is not presented on their website. There is a Dr. Beasley`s Matte Paint Coating, advertised with 1 to 3 years durability! https://www.drbeasleys.com/matte-paint-coating.html

The initial response was a bit ambiguous, that they have renamed the product to better reflect its nature and the sealant is no longer sold (although some distributors have leftovers on stock).... When I asked how come the same product (if identical) now has up to 3 years of claimed durability, whilst previously it had up to 9 months, I was told it is not quite the same, it has been improved...

I found the Sealant 50% off, but wondering if it is worth it, based on the above and also based on the shine, which is quite obvious even for the coating (how could they be happy with this results):
