Halim@HCP when I compare the M3 PureTurbos torque limited map to the M4 stock turbos torque limited map, is it just me or are they pretty much identical?

I would have expected larger turbos that are torque limited to produce a lot of top end, certainly more than the stock turbos.

I have no interest in tons of midrange torque, but would like more power up top. Before seeing these results one might think that a torque limited pureturbo setup is the ultimate for me.
They are both on the same map. Why would it make more power if it’s requesting the same amount of boost?!

Because the big turbos should not drop tons of torque and subsequently power higher in the rev range like the stock snails.

To put it another way, two cars can have the same torque of 500wftlb but vastly different power levels if one gets to that tq level and drops off at 4000rpm and another can maintain that torque to 7000rpm

So what did everyone decide on ?

I currently run CS+ and really like that map but was curious tp see this thread about running ACN Stage 1 or ACN Stage 2 with 20% reductions.

Would doing this give me roughly the same TQ curve as CS+ but more HP on the top end ?

Are most people here doing that ?

I find it difficult to drive Stage 1 in the canyons because of the sudden TQ hit mid trottle. CS+ is much more driveable , but I wouldnt mind more HP in the upper rev range.

If I remember right I an doing stg 1 93 reduced TQ and no real traction issues until the temps drop below 60.

1st 30%
2nd 20%
3rd 10%

4th-7th 0%

thanks for the reply.

Wondering if anyone has tested or is running Stage 2 ACN with some sort of TQ reduction.

I am currently running Stage 2 ACN with 10% TQ reduction in all gears.

Does anyone know how that would compare to the CS+ map ?

I'm hoping for similar torque to CS+ but with higher HP

My friend Halim is a really dangerous guy....

I destroyed 2 clutches Dodson targeted 1000 nm....

with his map!

Now I ask him to improve again and ... by the way... I use RON 100

NO E85 (for the moment)
we got 940' nm and 700 hp with rpm limiter on (now with php could run up to 8000 cause I have capirlo pistons and rods), we are at 2 bar but there is margin!! with Kratos turbo
