So I just finished my arm resonated dp with AA EQL resonated midpipe (non ZCP muffler) and it sounds absolutely nuts!! Nothing at all like any other s55 setup. Probably only bested by a single turbo setup. Do not hesitate if you want ultra smooth clean sounding exhaust. It very closely reminds me of a tame rb26. You will not be disappointed.

With those of you who got the catted version, i take it they install the cats in place of the resonators? Are the cats functional enough to stop the CEL?

The cats won't stop the CEL if the car is not flash tuned

Will the catted versions pass emissions? Are they high flow enough to run stage 2?

Sport cats don't pass emissions...and I have the high quality ER hi-flow cat DPs. I ran a whole week and then got the dreaded CEL.
... ... ...

I run Stage 2 and 2H with stock cats and also sport cats...no problem either way. I use BM3 to overlook the O2 sensor reading high when the sport cats are on.

Has anyone tried using a high quality HJS Euro 6 HFC?
Fabspeed has been using them on "P" cars with no CEL issues even on the new 992 turbos. IMHO, these metallic cats being sold on DP's are not super high quality like GESI or HJS. Metallic HFC's which are lower quality from Magnablow can't compete with a GESI or HJS.

This is where I'm torn, should I use a HFC from HJS sold overseas that have the ECE cert. (200 cell) or should I add ARM resonated DP, add an HJS HFC (which I have 2 new ones) midway on VRSF midpipe and move rear O2's further downstream. I've done option 2 on all my previous cars and had no latency issues with sensors or fuel trim with no CEL and tuned. Requires 2 x Lambda extensions for installation on our cars.

Mike- Can you get the Racing Dynamics or does Fabspeed make a catted DP for M3/4?
Fellas, any thougths?

Where do you get the harness extensions from? I was thinking of doing the same thing but hate creating harnesses and clips. Was looking for a pre made solution.
