Does the car still perform just as strong as when new? If there is any difference - how much of a difference do you notice and at what approximate mileage did you notice any change?

Correct me if I'm wrong. But, doesn't the valve cover need to be replaced? Not just gasket.

I'm at 48k miles No issues other then suspension level sensor went out and seat badges cracked under warranty.

That's awesome. Great to see your mileage climb and no big issues. How's the drivers seat holding up if you have leather? if really well what products are you using and how frequent?

The seats are holding up pretty well. No leather, I use mother’s gold for the other leather surfaces.

Built 07/14
Bought at 47k May 19'
I am 2nd owner the services been done before I owned it was normal
Valve cover gasket, rear diff. Flushed/changed, spark plugs, oil change etc..

Recently did spark plugs and had dealer fix the Electronic dampening control sensor.

Now sitting at 52k, I plan on driving the car less to conserve the miles but now I see someone with 144k, its gonna be very hard to resist.. but then again its hard to neglect an E39🤦*♂️

Should there be a 50K+, 100K+, 200K+ club threads?
I wonder if anyone is in or near the 200K club.

I hear ya....

Joke aside I have a hard time resisting driving my F80.

It's reserved for nice weather and weekends.

I would almost never commute to work in the M. The last 15 miles is riddled with construction; on and off ramps, business district, schools and inattentive drivers. Almost weekly accidents...

For my New England folks; 95 north between exit 42 to exit 8... the worst

I'm with ya bro...

M3 weekend nice weather and road trips and still put on about 13k a year

06 GTI beast mode daily: 279k original miles

2011 ZX10R I used to log 4 to 6 k a season now it's Sunday or Saturday only 60 degrees + with some sun

37k miles, with 2 track weekends so far and running strong!

Recently swapped out the steering wheel for V2 alcantara wheel which made the car feel brand new.

Cars are meant to be driven. Why buy it if its just going to sit there? Enjoy until you move on to the next car. And if you plan on keeping it for the long haul, DRIVE it until the wheels fall off.
