That is gorgeous! While I feel Nardo is played out on vehicles of other brands, it just works so well on Audi product.
Congrats!! I would love that exact car.

Not quite its peers. The M5 is the “Competition”, the E63 is the “S” and the Porsche is the Turbo “S” as well. From a price and performance standpoint, it would have been fairer to pit the RS6 against the base M5 and base E63.

I read rumours that Audi might do just that

Does anyone buy a non "S" E63? I thought they weren't even available in the US. But I do see your point for the rest of them.

The differentiation between the E63 and E63-S still exists in Europe though. One could argue the exact same about the M5 and M5 competition: why get a base M5 ?. I guess it boils down to the price premium and comfort/sportiness level.

Mercedes-AMG E63S 4Matic+ T: 1.56,0 min Audi RS6 Avant (C8): 1.56,6min Impressive to see station wagons hustle around like this As a comparison (albeit the M5 benefits from the lesser weight of being a sedan): BMW M5 Competition: 1.54.2 min

This! Oh and the markups will be substantial out of the gate. At the more likely $140K level, i suspect there is a limited market for this car, but i might be wrong. Did they say how many they’re planning to bring State side?

I want one badly, but the performance doesn't blow me away like I thought it would. Also, no one here in Germany seems to know anything about it. Meaning, the dealers that sell American spec don't have it on their books as being available for order.

I find the performance is slotted exactly where you'd expect an RS Audi to be in that segment.

My new ultimate daily option (need more trunk space than a sedan unfortunately or I would say M5) is an RS6 wagon or a Panamera Sport Turismo.
I would 100% buy a depreciated RS6 wagon (or maybe be okay with an S6 wagon) |

I love the exterior styling, easily the best looking, even more so than the Panny wagon which I also love (especially in Mamba Green ), but when it comes to engines I still think the Merc's AMG V8 is still the best. Also that interior ruins everything for me, too much shiny black plastics and all touchscreen, an OCD nightmare.

I am thinking the rest will not sell well, and then Audi will say - "See USA doesn't want wagons!!!" Not thinking at all that the economy is destroyed and the timing was very unfortunate for this particular car.
