M4 won't spin.

So I have a question. I just got my M4 not long ago so I'm still learning about them. I keep seeing videos of them spinning 1st 2nd and 3rd gear. for some reason mine even when DSC is turned off won't spin 1st and slightly spin 2nd at most. Is this a cause for concern?

You probably have a later model with the updated software that makes it drive properly and not loose like a mustang.

True! Mine, which is made in 2018 and with the software updated to an even later date, never spins. The fact that I'm not a hot-blooded driver doesn't help the matter here.

I’m a 2016 on 2018+ software - TC off and doing a clutch dump (either traditionally with a manual or foot to the floor on DCT) is guaranteed to spin

Mine is a 2015 and when I do that it still doesn't spin.

I assume they're the OE sizes, but regardless, it shouldn't take much to get those to spin. Are you getting full power when you do a pull? And I guess the other obvious question is when you turn TC off are you in MDM or are you holding TC for a few seconds to completely disable all traction/aid systems?

I feel like I'm getting full power in A-pull but I don't know because it's the 1st M4 I've been in. And I hold the DCT button for 4 seconds till it says it's completely off. I've also done launch control and it barely chirps the tires.

You have a 2015 M4, huh? Interesting. Well if you press this button for 5 seconds, turn the steering wheel all the way left/right, then floor it your Continentals will vanish like a magicians rabbit. If you say this doesn't work (with a 2015 at that) then you're only posting to get attention.

Trust me I'm not posting for attention. If I turn the wheel all the way in Floor it will do a donut or drift. I was just wondering why it doesn't spin them in a straight line with the steering wheel straight.

I personally have experienced this on all of my m’s. It’s done by turning all assistance off, highest shift speed and mash it from a dead stop. My E46M is the most obvious, with about a 3500-4000 rpm hike before it engages the clutch. M4 does similar.

My M4 does just the opposite. For the life of me I can't get it to NOT spin in 1st, 2nd, and sometimes 3rd when I'm WOT and feelin crazy. I'd like it to just hook for once and send me into the seat instead of smoking up the sky with Michelin chunks.
