Rebounding is way faster and it just seemed to have improved over time (probably adaptations).

I took a nice sweeper at 90+ and it’s perfectly compliant just in Sport mode. Sport+ is super impressive and stiff with extremely fast rebound. You are glued to bumpy roads even mid corner.
Does the CS edc make things that much better?

I took a 105 mph sweeper and my car got super unsettled on big bumps, definetly not glued to the floor and i am looking for a fix.

I think the CS will make it better but if you truly want to fix it, upgrade to Bilstein B6 dampers and eibach springs OR if you want the next level up, get the Bilstein B16 DDC kit + CS EDC coding done.

I have the latter and that solved ALL of my handling problems. It feels like a go-cart now. I posted a review on it a few weeks ago in the suspension forum.

Chiming in here. I run the B6 + MSS set-up. It's a firm ride but miles better than stock in regards to the dampening. The car felt a bit floaty and non exactly confidence inspiring in stock form, but this set-up has fixed that.

I wish I could get the front to be a little lower but apparently it's because the B6 is a taller shock than the OEM one, so it sits a little higher.

Received the B6 dampers from Evolve UK this week as well as the Eibach V1 springs yesterday.
Based on everyone's reviews here I'm excited to install them next weekend and experience them on a first hand basis.

MJ6:

Looking at this setup and if you could be so kind to measure the before and after ride height of both front and back.

I hear the Bilstein B6 shocks are higher than OEM and the Eibach V1 are lower than the stock springs so wanted to get an idea how much lower,if any, than stock height and looking forward of a review?

Thanks.

Can do. I'm looking at a installing them on the 8th due to Labor Day, but I'll be sure to get a few measurements of the before and after.

Of note: I'm currently on the stock ZCP springs and dampers.

Thanks for all the Bilstein orders guys. We have more in stock.

I've been running the B6 EDC Dampers with MSS Springs and the car feels as nimble as my M2 and is more comfortable than on the stock set up. Really enjoy it.

Installed the Eibach V1 springs and Bilstein B6's today: in total it took a little over six hours. A large part of that involved the learning curve required when performing an install for the first time, but after completing one side I was able to pick up the pace with the other.

As was mentioned before, it will take a bit for the dampers and springs to settle completely, but I did take some measurements of the stock ride height prior:

Mind you, this is on ZCP springs, 666 rims, and PS4S with 265/30R20 in the front and 295/30R20 in the rear. I also have an MPerformance CF lip that I took measurements with for the sake of clearance.

Front: Bottom of Rim to fender - 650mm

Rear: Bottom of Rim to fender - 622mm

Lip: Bottom of Lip to Ground - 114mm

Once everything settles after a few weeks I'll follow up with comparison numbers.

MSS kit was too stiff. The best combo for comfort, compliance and handling is likely the B6 + Eibach springs. Give that a try
Which eibach springs? Pro-kit for ZCP? If you have ZCP...

I've got a friend that just bought a '18 M3CS and is wanting something of a more compliant ride in comfort mode. In your opinion and from what your are saying is that the Bilstein B6 kit will do this?

Checking to see if you were able to take measurements with the Bilstein's and your review?

I'll head out tomorrow and get some measurements, they'll have to be from mid-hub though as I swapped to my winter set recently.

So the Bilstein's and Eibach V1 springs have been settling for a few weeks, and I have to say that I'm very satisfied with how they pair up, and am pretty happy with the way the car sits as I wasn't going for aesthetics as much as ride quality.

There may be a margin of error as far as the "after" measurements go seeing as I had to swap to my winter wheels last week, but here's what I came up with.

Front: Bottom of Rim to fender - 635mm

Rear: Bottom of Rim to fender - 619mm

Lip: Bottom of Lip to Ground - 108mm

Given that Bilstein's are taller dampers than OEM, I expected a really mild drop and that's exactly what I got. The ride quality has improved 10 fold though. There's actually a noticeable difference between Comfort/Sport/Sport+, and the way they soak up the road now is nothing less than superb. I haven't taken them to the limit by any means, but they're miles above the stock set up.

In the words of Ferris Bueller: "It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up."

Really? Bilstein B6/Eibach is more comfortable than a CS in comfort mode? A CS is comfort mode is pretty damn compliant; not harsh at all.

MJ6 do you have pics you can share? Was thinking of doing same setup but concerned drop would not be as much as I would like.

Anyone try the B6 with MP HAS?

I've done the CS EDC coding but feel there is room for additional improvement. Trying to avoid going to full coil overs, so was looking into the B6 Damptronics.

B6 not compatible with MP HAS hardware. For B6 MSS HAS or any other lowering spring is compatible, although they are designed for stock height springs.
