12v Power Outlet Time Out?

Hi all,

Regarding the 12v power outlets in the F80/82, I've checked at least the one in the center console forward of the cup holders and it does not shut off when the ignition is shut off. I intend to try to test this myself, but does anyone know if these outlets eventually turn off? After some number of minutes?

As far as i know, at least for the one below the glove compartment... it goes off 180 secs after locking the car.

I believe this applies to all 12 V sockets.

No lock, no cut off.
