Power Rear Sunshade + Tint?
Currently I have the Power Rear Sunshade option included in my build.
I am planning to have the car tinted as well - but with light tint, mostly for solar heat reduction (3M Crystalline). Does the addition of the Power Rear Sunshade make applying the tint on rear window more difficult? Can shops handle it without having to remove the sunshade or cause damage to it? |

In my 5, I just put the shade down and didn't touch it for a day or so while the film was curing. I imagine it's the same. I'm having my M3 tinted on Saturday.

No problem at all in the M5. The shade doesn't touch the window at all.

The sun shade was not an issue when the installer tinted the rear glass in my M3. Yours should be fine IMO.

I don't like to tint the rear window very dark as it is too difficult to see through at night. So, light tint planned and rear sunshade up when car sitting in the hot sun. |
