Great deals!! I'm looking into one coming from a 340i. Missed out on the X3M deals last month.
Anyone come from a B58 ZF gearbox S55 dct?

I came from 330d ZF and personally think the ZF was better than DCT - it's much smoother.

I did the same and agree, the ZF is a fabulous gearbox. DCT OK and fine when pressing on, but no match for 90% of the time. The GTS gearbox software has improved things a little.

New M5 is ZF, but then it has 4WD and ZF cater for this; not sure Magna (formerly Getrag) make a DCT that can drive all 4 wheels. New M3/4 will also be ZF in auto form as they too will be 4WD. ZF8HP is a fantastic piece of engineering. And even better when installed in a BMW - other cars suffer with less sorted software, despite sharing the same hardware. |

I have ended up ordering the X3M last car on the deal. Perfect mix ZF and S58 engine.
