A few people have recently asked me how much of a commitment is involved in keeping this car clean, so figured I'd post my impressions.
First off, this paint is WAY easier to get clean than regular paint - most things just wipe right off it. Also, while I'm somewhat careful with how I wipe/wash it, remember that swirl marks won't show in the matte finish. I keep a bottle of Dr Beasley's Matte Final Finish (which I find dries without leaving any smears) and a microfiber in the trunk to deal with any bird poop or tree sap as I see them. When it rains, I either dry it off with a microfiber drying cloth if it's still wet or just spray it over with a pressure washer to re-wet it and dry with a drying cloth to prevent rain spots. This takes about 5 minutes. To echo what Chez said (which was nicely written) it really isn't too bad to maintain. Last month, after dealing with a filthy car for almost a month in temperatures too cold to hand wash, I actually went through a brushless car wash and it came out perfect. It really is easier than most believe. My biggest problem is coming back to hand prints all over mine when left parked at a street or parking lot. Everyone seems to be dying to see what matte paint feels like! Such a pain in the butt!

Good Lord that is one nice looking car! I've actually thought of going with matte black vinyl on my fenders instead of clear just to see how the contrast will look against my BSM. But your matte on matte really looks like a great match. And the mods are well done also.
