Great value compared to other hubs and install is similar to Gintani Hub but with 2 pins instead of 1 |

Awesome! Think I’m going to pull the trigger in this hub then. Was kind of hesitant because there aren’t many people running them! But the few that I do see on here seem like they are happy with them.

I wouldn't run it. When deciding that I wanted to do, I bought a stock crank hub and gear set. It allowed me to see that many on the market didn't properly do their homework when trying to copy the stock geometry. Insane Performance's sprocket design is WAY off. Their sides are almost straight and don't help properly align the chain. Notice how straight the sidewalls of their sprocket is compared to the stock design (3rd picture) on both the timing and oil pump gear. It is only a matter of time until it grabs a side plate and takes out the engine. Also, the angle and radius of the teeth is not the same as stock. I'd be concerned with high-speed operation.
Bottom line is avoid Insane Performance. |

Very good points! In earlier designs this IP crank hub had more angled sidewalls of the sprockets, why there is almost none, its a good question. It should not be too complex to machine that when all the rest is done.

Wrote to Insane and feedback from them is that they have been running the hubs on modified test car for 50+ thousand kilometers and customers have been running their hubs on 600-800hp cars.

That is also another reason why I am going Insane performance. Not gonna have the car sit for months waiting for MaxPSI to get theirs back in stock. Also did some research and asked around about the Insane hub and have heard great things!

Any reason why you chose insane performance over VTT, which is significantly cheaper?

My technician recommended Insane Performance Hub. He said he's done a bunch of cars that are all making over 700 wheel and have had no issues with the hub. Plus there are a handful of people on here that have said great things about it as well. It all came down to reputation and after asking around the Insane Performance hub seems like a great bang for your buck. But I will say if the MaxPSI hub was in stock I prob would have spent the extra 500 and just gotten that.

Probably because the VTT hub isn't a real fix
